As an island province most children along the shoreline of Catanduanes must have played with toy boats. When I was growing up in Baras Catanduanes summer afternoons are spent with friends in the sea enjoying boat sails. We have all kinds of miniaturized boats complete with sails. All of them functional and run fast, though mine never won any race, i am so proud till now to have owned one and to have played this dying children past time.
