notbadg: Been a while since I come home and visit! It was since 2009, I was in Virac for about 4 days but I enjoyed it. I was watching some of the video from youtube and I miss the place again. Growing up there was a blast and realizes how simple it is back then.2 weeks 6 days ago

Attention Alvis: Balongbong Falls??
Somehow i think this picture changed from the original. I think this is Balongbong Falls.
The original picture here was the real Maribina falls...

Maribina Falls
Maribina Falls is officially named so to stand for MARInawa and BINAnwahan. These are two of the four (4) barangays (Binanwahan, Marinawa, San Andres, Cabugao) divided out of one big mother barangay of Cabugao.
It serves as the divide between Marinawa and Binanwahan. It is a favorite picnic ground of people from Bato and Virac because of its proximity to these two towns: 15 minutes from Bato and around the same from Virac.
It is a good place to bring along children for a family outing as the water is, like Sulong in San Miguel, children-friendly. Ample space for barbecue and space to hang around here. Too, trecking the upper part of the river is a good addition to the outing.
I go there for a quick deep if I have a big hang-over!
1 point to pading Alvis
