NICE PIC!

LOLONG POINT LIGHTHOUSE (Panganiban) and PUTSAN LIGHTHOUSE (Baras) were rehabilitated last year by the PHIL COAST GUARD, assisted by the 905th AUXILIARY SQUADRON based in Catanduanes. Both lighthouses are in OPERATION at this time.

The 905th AUXILIARY SQUADRON will continue to monitor its operations and report to the PCG its status. Adopting thus maintaining and landscaping the facility is also in the ACTION PLAN of the 905th AUXSQDN. Later on it will be included in the tourist must-see activity in the province.

We have some nice pics. Will post them later.

Baka pwede man tabi blueforce na maiiba sa programang rehabilitasyon ang Lighthouse sa may Pagatpatan between Bislig and Codon, San Andres, Catanduanes. Magayon man na mapatanos yun. Ang aram ko gagana pa yung ilaw kaito...

Magayon na plano yan sir blueforce kung magiging tourist destination ang mga Parola nato, dahil sa ibang lugar talaga namang tourist spot at igwa pang lodging house. Nauuso ngayon sa mga photo enthusiast na pumunta sa mga lugar na may lighthouse, kaya pwede ako mag-organize ng photo shoot dyan sa catanduanes kapag naayos na lahat. Mabalos uli Cmdr Ivanhoe Arcilla.

tHANKS BLUEFORCE FOR THE UPDATE. So it's OPERATIONAL since last year. mANY THANKS -PCG and PCGA (905th AUXILIARY SQUADRON) Who did the rehabilitation.(Including the one in Baras)

PCG staff from Manila, together with PCG Bicol/905th AUXSQDN (Vrc) did the rehab. The parts were provided by the PCG. I know it been a long time in coming. With the activation of the 905th AUXILIARY SQUADRON in VRC last May, the status of all 7 lighthouses in the province came to light. We submit stat reports to the PCG/Bcl on a monthly basis.

Once again I am so glad in behalf of my fellow Catandunganons & the Catanduanes Forum regarding the prompt rehabilitation of the 7 Lighthouses in our Province.Thanks to the effort the PCG Manila with PCG Bicol/905 AUXSQDN(Vrc) who did the rehabilitationand the supply of some equipments that were provided.I"m sure Catanduanes Province will be shining its beacons for all to see our beautiful Island.
Congratulations Philippine Coast Guard! Mabuhay kayo!
