This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. The 1st time was about 4-5 months ago. That visit was very pleasant. The girl that registered us (I think Roxan?) was very helpful, spoke English, and was fun to talk with. Also the food was good and the wait staff was fast and polite.Thats why we returned this time...

But as they say , you cant go back...That was very true this time. The girl at the front desk had trouble understanding me (Im American) with even the smallest things. She never advised us of the different types of rooms. She just handed us a key to a small room (600php). On our last trip we were advised of the different types of rooms and the cost. We picked the larger room for 1,100php. So when I returned and asked for a larger room she just handed me a key, never telling me the price. Turns out the price has went up in just 4 months to 1,300php. In our 4 day stay we never were offered new towles, sheets or even to have the garbage emptied. The wait staff was pleasant, but be advised, they are mostly OJB (on the job training) staff from a lcal school (Im sure its because they work for almost nothing). The Hotel itself looks nice and when we arrived our room was clean. I didnt like the 5:45AM VERY LOUD TV the staff had on. When I first tried to complian the in room house phone was dead. At the front desk she thought I was asking about the internet...????

The food was "OK" . But if you want something, make sure you ask ahead of time to see if they will have it. The first night I tried to order a whole chicken with veg rice. I was told the chicken would be 1 hour and they were out of veg rice... Oh yes, if you plan to swim, make sure you shower first, so you dont get yelled at. We are having a large party in Nov and were going to reserve 6-8 rooms here. But we will look for another place. I wouldn't mind the rate increase if it made the Hotel a better place. But in this case I paid more and got less...This will be my last stay here!!!
