The charity "Network for Animals" is turning its sights on the Philippines.
In an effort to raise awarenes on the dog meat trade they projected their campaign symbol onto the Big Ben clock tower at the British parliament building in London this week.
This is what the charity is saying:
"The dog meat trade was outlawed in the Philippines in 2007, but no one there is listening. Act now visit www.dogmeat.org . Filipino dog meat traders use the cruelest methods to kill fully conscious animals before butchering them. "

I do hope Catanduanes is dog meat free and that we could earn a reputation for an island that cares about the welfare of its animals.
