I love looking at this picture of Our Lady of Sorrow! Thanks Milms for posting it here. I have this picture printed from calolbon.blogs, and it is by my computer. She is so beautiful! I googled other pictures of Our Lady of Sorrows just to compare it from one another, this is by far, the most beautiful one!

When I saw this image in the '70's, the forehead was still covered by the veil (covered all the way below the eyebrows). And the eyes were only slightly open. In fact, we had to use a magnifying glass to be able to see her beautiful face! Now, look how exposed her beautiful face is. What I wish is to read the true story how she was found. I've heard three different stories. I wish that the Diocese of Catanduanes will create a brochure or something that people can read about the true story. I told two Priests from Visayas about this, and they never heard of it. I also told another Priest from Nebraska, U.S.A., who was a missionary in the Philippines few years ago, and he has not heard of this either. He said that if it is in fact a miraculous image, the Vatican should be notified about it.

Is there anybody in the CF community who might know the true story and can share it?

Iyo bim....kadakulla na talaga kan imahen naan....!
Poon pa kan aki pa ako(ngonian gurang na...ha ha ha) pirmi na akong gapunta diyan kaya na-witness ko talaga ang pagbabag-o o ang pagdakula kang imahen na an. Ang gayon-gayon niya talaga! Buhay na buhay ang image niya...kaya talagang pirming pano pano ning tawo ang Batong Paluway churc esp. kun friday.

Wow!!! what a beautiful picture.. the Virgen is a very beautiful lady.
The last time i was in Catanduanes, i took her picture but not as beautiful as this one.

catanduanes will always be in my heart!
