WANT TO TEACH

hello guys. pwede kayang maghuno ning kolehiyo (CSC MAIN OR ANNEX SA PAYO OR KAHIT ANONG COLLEGE) ngayong summer? kahit walang bayad, i graduated with a degree in political science at the University of the Philiipines and now an incoming fourth year in law school. Ive heard there is a political science degree in CSC. I can teach govenment and politics, international law, foreign policy and public administration. Im pretty confident that I can handle the job.hehehe

or any politician out there who is looking for a campaign manager?hehehe. just give me a hit.

I'm pasting here the answer to my message to Gerry Rubio. This might help too.

1. "Dave, it would depend if there is an available class, or subject to be handled. Please send application expressing desire to teach on a partime basis, with attached document -- resume, diploma, Transcript of Records. Usually, the need for part time teachers crop up on first semesters. Per semester lang ang teaching assignment. After that, kung may available class/subject, a part time teacher will be hired. Goodluck."

2. "Dave, I read Irwin Pena's post. Good credentials. Good education. He can be of help to CSC. I cannot promise employment, hehe. Bsta I fully encourage him to send application letter."

An pagkaaram ko po, kung hindi pa pinapalitan now, an chairwoman ng social science dept ng CSC Dr. Aurora Araojo. Nagwork po ako dun before, part timers that time sina former Radio Natin Virac's Carmelo "MEL" Rima and DZVC Announcers Arlene Bagadiong and Joe Buena. pag igwa ma parttime, ga pass saiya ng aplic/req then office na maforward sa president kasama recommendation from her, kase pag sa Personnel/Human Resource office, you need to wait pa po. an open pag summer is economics subj and rizal course ng soc.sci dept. but that's last year. gwa man po summer for graduate courses at may bayad po yun, kahit sa Catanduanes Colleges merong summer, all requested subjects.

thanks for the information. ill try to make a communication with CC..economics? i had 18 units of economics (considered as minor in some colleges and universities if you earned 18 units) - micro,macro,philippine economy, international economics and philippine economic history ata. pero i am more inclined in the field of politics - specifically the constitution, branches of the government and the system, i can do also elections law. also, i have 18-units in international relations. yun medyo competent ako dun. pero rizal...medyo tagilid.hehehe.;-)

sir dave, thanks a lot. a heads up from you will definitely be a great help. im still checking though on my schedules, classes here @beda law ends on the 25th i think, that's our last exam date. then, im thinking of leaving for panganiban on the next day.

teaching is really my ambition. i want to become a part of the noble profession and teach the young minds how to make a difference. my dad is a former politician in panganiban but now he's teaching already. i used to be a volunteer educator when i was in UP.

and seriously, i dont see myself practicing law.hehehe. i think academe is my calling.

wat? oh mehn, i am a teacher but i don't wanna teach. my ambition is to become a lawyer, then a lawyer here wants to be.......a teacher? c",) haizt, sana ako na lang ikaw. mamatay matay ako kaka ambisyon mag law, c",) walang datung eh. sana makahanap ng scholarship, yan ang kailangan ko sa buhay ko, chance makapag LAW. na hindi ko magagawa kung walang scholarship. ung sakit ng pobre. c",) Hai Lord, danguga man ako. su mga maboot boot jan na ma grant sako ng skolarsyip, parang awa na nindo. c",)

there will always be a right time for that. be patient, wait and listen. actually, attending law school is not my choice. my dad was a frustrated lawyer and he wanted me to pursue the course on his behalf. At first it was exciting, i'm learning a lot. favorite subjects are political law and constitution, election law as well. commissioner rene sarmiento of comelec (who's from virac, catanduanes) teaches here in san beda law school mendiola. he handles evidence and constitution. im telling you yellow bell, taking law half-heartedly will give you a great mess. im struggling right now. hair starts to fall out from my head. ayaw ko na ma-stress.but i have to finish it, konti na lang eh.

mom too........... a frustrated teacher slash lawyer slash announcer, na now working sa gobyerno. siya din nagdecide na magtake ako educ, mag major ng english, mag etc etc. then pinagmamasteral this june, at hindi ako titigilan hanggang hindi maka pag doctor. nakakabaliw mga mommy natin noh. minsan nakakasakal, pero, masunod nanaman ako, haizt, maenrol this June, gusto ko sila maging happy, because nothing makes me happy than to see Nanay Gemma and Tatay Jose Happy din. Taray? c",) dae man, gamanupog lang sa parents, buda naugma naman ako sa gusto ninda para sako, maski minsan natutuok na ko, ta dalaga baga ko, kaipuhan man ng jamming sa buhay. c",) matandang dalaga.

anyway, im preparing my papers now for the application. my diploma and TOR were all soaked wet and got dirty by the ondoy flood that ravaged manila.hehehe

hi sir. im not very much acquianted with my collateral relatives. but i know the penas in pangkayanan are cousins of ours. eli pena, who lives in san joaquin, hails from pangkayanan and tiyo eli is our cousin. maybe engr. peña too.
