Typhoon "PEPENG" has changed course to the Northwest Direction and is now moving towards Cagayan.
Location of Center:
(as of 10:00 p.m.) 200 kms North Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or
380 km Southeast of Aparri, Cagayan
Coordinates: 15.9°N, 124.6°E
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near center
and gustiness of up to 210 kph
Movement: Northwest at 13 kph
Forecast Positions/Outlook: Saturday evening:
expected to make landfall in Northern Cagayan
Sunday evening:
130 kms Northwest of Aparri, Cagayan
Monday evening:
170 km West of Basco, Batanes

Landslide

I watched 24oras news here at nakita ko kung paano mag-landslide sa Pandan & Gigmoto Catanduanes.

Kasabihan:
Bicol my version : Daeng nagmina sa kinaban na daing pig-agihan ning kalamidad.
Tagalog: Walang humipo sa uling na walang naulingan.

Just called my sister in Gigmoto about 3:45am local time for typhoon Pepeng in our place. The onslaught of Pepeng started about 6:00pm with strong winds and strong rain and lasted about 5 hrs. She tried to look outside from the window but can't report damage in our town as it is still dark. She said that they are okay in the house and it is calm now and not raining anymore. FYI
