Proponents of home schooling in the Philippines in the wake of natural calamities such as typhoon, floods and the growing disstisfaction in our educational curriculum are pushing to turn their homes into classrooms.
They see it as a way to improve their children's academic test results, protect them from a poor school environment, values, character and dislike of what is taught inside the classroom. Parents can focus on their child's strenghts, talents and interests in their own pace without limits in time and ways. The financial burden from parents will also be mimimized.
