Greetings, Catandunganons!

I am a travel blogger and analog photography enthusiast writing a full-story feature in a local travel magazine on Catanduanes, an island which I believe deserves more attention for its elemental beauty wrought by nature, thereby making it a wonderful destination for free-spirited travelers.

I will be backpacking in your province from February 14 to 17. And would greatly appreciate any helpful local knowledge offered.

A. What landmarks/sights do you recommend visiting? I am planning to check out the following places:

1. Amenia Beach Resort - Is this the best beach with a view of Mayon?
2. Bato Church
3. Virac Cathedral
4. Luyang Cave
5. Maribina Falls
6. Puraran Beach

Are there any more must-see places?

B. What unique Catanduanes dishes/delicacies must I try, and where do I go find authentic local cuisine?
