I have to admit I was, for the last 3 years, unable to do what I wanted to do: sit down and make CF the site responsive to its mission and vision.

When I left the Philippines in 2007, I was full of hope that I will have more time administering the site. Unfortunately I have mis-judged Uncle Sam's design. When I reached the US found myself with less time than the little time I had when I was back home. Then the whole change of status start and my life became as crazy as can be! I just find myself with less time to no time with CF.

I've finally jumped over the stressful process and I'm back with the following priorities:

1. My LONG stay on the island and with my interaction with people i found that CF is read and is still a good read amongst all the sites there is. CF has earned its respect and I hope to be able to spur new life into it with us working together.

2. As a community site, I have seen members with vision that are able to organize CF activities: successful poster making contest last October. With minimum supervision, the group was able to conduct the program with transparency in handling funds using the site. I hope we can support more of these to include "Anduy's Dream!"

Udi, piga kalikot pa ni STR yan site ibwelta na yan gabos ta mara huray akong nawara. Tinago nona yo mga tagoon pag hari ko. Nintong uya nangman kita yo mga nagkawarara, iruruluwas nangman yon.

Musta na po. Glad to hear that "DAVE is BACK!" Welcome po sa lahat..bago o luma..I missed my ka barangay sa CF . Ahin na tabi yo mga pictures ta dito sa CF? Piga tor-tanaw ko baga nowhere to be found na? Uya pa man sid ako to. Balitae man daw ako. Mabalos tabi...Harani na baga yan KRISMAS.

I love CF too. When I signed up as a member, i thought that I signed up for a social networking site. True, but more than that, this is something that is made for Catandunganons around the world, a site where they get updates from the island, pictures, news, meet co-islanders and express personal opinions. CF was my best buddy when I was working in Manila. Because of CF, I no longer have to drink coffee to keep me alive during night shifts. I met friends, I love the exchange of shouts and whispers back then. Now, I'm back to Virac, still, though I don't spend sleepless nights here, I always and regularly visit the site. At times I miss the shoutbox, but I believe it's better out. Thanks there's Catanduanes.Net that gave birth to CF. I still am an active member of CF. I never forget anyone from here. God Bless!

Kriszle, baad poon ka na naman ma adik dindi he he he... rest assured STR, Cai and I will bring back everything that we love about CF. We needed to disable some services ta pan'o dai talaga kaming oras sa nakaaging mga bullan!
