Enot po ang gabos, gusto ko lang ipaaram na ako po sarong viracnon na nagtatrabaho digdi sa qatar. i monitored and updated myself of the first automated election, especially jan sa catanduanes, through the comelec/smartmatic website.
The good showing of Mrs. Wong for this 2010 election, the fact na nag neck-to-neck sila ni Cesar, she could attribute to election machinery of Gov. Boboy Cua, an incumbent governor with good track record as that, and defeated an old friend, JAS, with a large margin.
What caused the defeat of Mrs. Wong is simply the mathematical equation of elections. From the very start of election period, the loss is already eminent for the 3 candidates that all hails from the North because they are against a solo candidate from South, with a large voting population. If Mrs. Wong could have just muster 55% of the votes gathered by her 2 co-candidates from North, the election result would be the other way around.
And also, the victory of Cong. Cesar Sarmiento, can be attributed to his qualifications and pre-election strategies and not in any way the "traitorness" of Gov. Boboy Cua to Mrs. Wong.
Kung bakong por dahil ki Gov. Boboy Cua, mas lalo pang dinaog si Mrs. Wong.
Sinabi na kaya kang primero pa na ang Wong-Cua tandem ay medyo sintunado, nagpilit pa...

I offer below my own interpretation of the original post which may help some understand the meaning a little better. I had no alternative for “chicken running without guns”, but kept thinking about headless chickens. I wonder whether this is what the author meant.

"The winning governor in our province's first automated election was Joseph Boboy C Cua – again. He won his candidacy through vote buying and swindling Mrs Wong. Apparently Joseph Cua asked his beloved friend for money to help his candidacy. Mrs Wong gave him money, but before the election day Joseph Cua had swindled Mrs Wong.
Following the election Mrs Wong now complains about Joseph Cua's treachory and his crocodile attitude.
It would have been of greater help to the people of this province to have given the money directly to them. The Governor is a very untrustworthy person who even cheats his own friends, let alone us. We are just ordinary people like chickens [running without guns]"

I have questions about this post:
Given the extreme wealth of Joseph Cua I question the need for him to ask for financial assistance from anyone. Unless he felt that Mrs Wong owed a contribution.

How exactly had Joseph Cua “swindled” Mrs Wong?

Is there any hard evidence for Joseph Cua engaging in vote buying?

Sa atong First Automated Election dito sa atong probinsia, yan atong guminanang gobernador si Joseph Boboy C. Cua otro. Why in the province was the wong trusting the cua if the cua is the untrusted people? For the many voting in the past election 2004 & 2007 is always the untrusting of the money to the running mate. The next time I adviser wong do not get runner for running mate so that win.
