What makes the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist credo still significant to the leaders of the Communist Party-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front? Do they really intend to achieve Karl Marx’s vision of a classless society or are they just using communist rhetoric (which has long been abandoned and consigned to the dustbin of history) to justify their criminal activities like extortion through its “revolutionary tax,” “permit to campaign” (PTC) and “permit to win” (PTW)?

If you follow the political careers of Ninoy, Cory and Noynoy Aquino — you’ll notice that the Reds (our Communists) figured prominently in the political sagas of Ninoy and Cory just as they are now also playing a role in the attempt to derail the presidential bid of Noynoy.
For the sake of camaraderie and in the advice of same friends I made a decision to remove my blog post about “Mayan Muna”. I do have great respect for Ka Satur and Lisa Masa for leading the fight of marginalized sector sa Batasang Pambansa.

Akala ko ayaw nila sa katulad ni Gloria?
And Why Satur and Masa Support Villar?

FRAMED by bamboo crosses and tagged with numbers, the 67 skulls mouldered in the dappled sunlight. The British Broadcasting Corp. TV camera focused on the young priest who sprinkled holy water at the skeletal remains. The camera then panned faces of weeping women who identified half-rotten clothes, recovered from the mass grave, as belonging to relatives.
There is evidence that the military “allowed, tolerated and even encouraged” political assassinations, and that retired Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan was among those who justified the killings, according to the report of a special commission.
Here is a text from one of the searching elements in the Philippines, a young college student. His text is his reflections on different variants of leftism he personally encountered, particularly maoism and anarchism.
As the world-wide proletarian struggles against capitalist attacks gain momentum, searching elements slowly emerged, studying marxism and leftism; reflecting them and taking position for the former against the latter.
