The highest bidder wins.
The mouth speaks and there goes also what is inside your heart...

MANILA, Philippines - Octogenarian Maxima Policarpio had spent most of her life in the mountains of Norzagaray, a small town in Bulacan, near the foothills of the Sierra Madre. She had hoped to spend the twilight of her life there in peace and quiet, tending a tiny vegetable garden and surrounded by fruit-bearing trees she had planted many years ago.

Fake smiles, cheesy campaign jingles and TV commercials and pseudo promises by fill up empty walls, radio waves and TV ads in the Philippines from politicians running for office in the coming 2010 Philippine Elections.
With the 2010 Philippine elections drawing near, who is worth your vote? Will you vote for the candidate with the most antics, best fake smile and pseudo promises or are you conscientiously looking into the qualifications of each candidate?
Here are some pointers that I am keeping in my mind and I hope you can consider these too.

Weekly Wisdom
Use your words as building blocks not battering rams.
Every word you say will have an affect on others. Positive words will encourage and strengthen other people, but negative words will tear down and harm them. You must decide whether to speak positively or negatively. Please understand that speaking positively requires a deliberate decision, whereas speaking negatively comes easily—for it is human nature. Therefore, actively strive to speak positive and encouraging words to others.
Please answer these questions truthfully:
Why do we feast on bad news rather than good news?
Why are we happy when we hurt people and spread rumors and gossips, rather than telling others how good they are?
Why do we seem to enjoy throwing hurtful words and pulling down each other, rather than to build up and encourage each other?
Why do we seem to find the best words to describe the worst of one another, than emphasize their good qualities?
Why are we fond of breaking each other rather than building relationships?
Ten Guidelines From God
Effective Immediately,
please be aware that there are changes YOU need
to make in YOUR life. These changes need to be
completed in order that I may fulfill My promises
to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in
this life. I apologize for any inconvenience,
but after all that I am doing, this seems very
little to ask of you. Please, follow
these 10 guidelines
1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit
and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here
to take all your burdens and carry them for you?
file of Jesus Christ from the New Testament:
Jesus of Nazareth, he is the Christ, the "Anointed One," or the "Messiah." The name "Jesus" is derived from the Hebrew-Aramaic word "Yeshua," meaning "Yahweh [the Lord] is salvation." The name "Christ" is actually a title for Jesus. It comes from the Greek word "Christos," meaning "the Anointed One," or "Messiah" in Hebrew.
Jesus is the central figure in Christianity and his life, message and ministry are chronicled in the four Gospels of the New Testament.
