The results of the competition have been announced and I am very pleased to report that the Philippine water pump project won the World Challenge 2010. This device uses the force of the river water flow to lift water to remote communities at higher levels.
If you added your vote to this worthhile project then you can feel justly proud and satisfied. The award ceremony will be televised on BBC World News Television channel at 2230 on Sunday evening in the Philippines. For viewing times in your area consult the BBC Schedules at the following link:
