A reaction to the article of abs-cbn news online entitled: Teodoro, Villar take softer stance on Arroyo.

Gibo and Villar are on the same boat. Si Gibo ang legitimate candidate at si Villar ang illegitimate candidate ni GMA. GMA is more in favor of Villar but the latter refused to shed his cover of being an 'opposition'. He wants on both sides, whereever the wind 'blows' stronger. Gibo is the candidate of GMA party because it has no other choice, the party has to survive May 2010 election.
GMA had done something for Gibo and Villar. In return, both have to do something for GMA in the future. Hence, quid pro quo (something for something).
Kahit anong 'galing at talino (?)', hindi siya makakaalis sa 'saya' ni GMA, lalo na at magiging congresista ito. Si Villar, kailangan niya si GMA, manalo o matalo, sapagkat GMA knows what Villar did.
When election comes, the 'battle' is actually between two - Administration vs Opposition: pro-GMA vs anti-GMA: Villar vs Noynoy. All the others are as supporting casts, providing 'alternatives' to the main characters in this 4-months telenovela entitled May 2010 election.
But just like in any story, the plot is always between the 'bida' and 'kontrabida', the former saving the 'victim' from the latter. And who is the victim? We, the electorates.
If one of the 'alternative' win, the plot becomes complicated and unpredictable. In most probability, the 'victim' will suffer greater pain and misery, waiting for the 'bida' to rise again and liberate him.
This is the story of Philippine society since its birth.
