Outdoor adventure event to push through

With that in mind, the Catanduanes Rescue Team (CREST) Inc. announced that it is definitely pushing through with the 1st Catanduanes Extreme Outdoor Adventure.

Jerry B. Beo, CREST team leader and spokesman said that the activity is a 2-day event re-scheduled to April 24-25, 2010 and which will include hiking, stream walking, caving, rappelling, slide-for-life (zipline), swimming and boating in three natural scenic spots in Catanduanes.

Beo said that among the venues of the said outdoor event is Tagkalo Cave in brgy. Bigaa, Virac and the second level of Hicming Falls also in Virac.

Participants to this first-ever outdoor adventure in Catanduanes are likewise scheduled to go on boating off the seas of Agojo Point where they are scheduled to spend the evening of April 24.

CREST promises an adventure like no other and an experience of a lifetime for participants to the event.

Prospective participants to this outdoor event, according to Beo, have nothing to be afraid of as according to him, ordinary mortals can easily hurdle the scheduled activities through the guidance of CREST members who are trained rescuers.

As for the registration fee, CREST will charge the amount of Php1,000/pax which should cover for meals and snack and overnight stay at Paradise Resort, Agojo, San Andres (tent only).
