In a resolution furnished by The Professional Regulation Commission Manila, signed by PRC Chairman Nicolas P. Lapeña, Commissioners Ruth Raña Padilla and Nilo L. Rosas, pursuant to section 7 (d) R. A. No. 8981, authorizing the Commission to determine and fix the places and dates of examinations, the licensure examination for teachers this year shall be held on the date and place, including the deadline in filing applications indicated.
The examination will be held on the 18th of April, Sunday, in Manila, All Regional Offices, Tawi-tawi, Sulu @ Pagadian. Deadline of filing is on February 12, 2010, signifying no changes in the schedule may be made without the prior approval by the commission. If the number of examinee is less than fifty, regional examinations maybe cancelled ahead of time with proper and prior notice to the regions.
2. Sanchez team travels off road; Assec visits virac
9:30 am on January 10, Sunday , Sanchez team led by Political Officer Art Tabirara went off roads from Virac town to San Andres, Caramoran and Pandan. With this writer,a correspondent from dzaa and 2 more free lance writers, in an L300 van, the team visited barangays in the abovementioned municipalities, organizing their breakdown of coordinators. The team spent the night in Libod Pandan and went back to Virac Monday. At the same time, on the other hand, opponent Assec Cesar Sarmiento and team was stuck in MNL airport Sunday morning, as the plane would not take off unless the heavy rains stop. Though delayed, Sarmiento was able to arrange a meeting, 2 pm at Villa Alcantara. Assec and team later went to Calatagan for a reunion and later attended the welcome party for Father Gapaz in Palta Big. To date, Manolo arrives Virac Thursday, January 14 early in the morning meeting Assec who departs for Manila same day.
3. Care and Share to carry out tree planting activity
C&S acting President Vincent Tacorda, together with recognized organizations and fraternities in the island is scheduled to undertake a tree planting activity tomorrow, Saturday, the 16th of January to cover barangays from Igang to Antipolo Areas. The group secured more than 500 seedlings from DENR and CENRO to be distributed by participating groups like Catanduanes Colleges Supreme Student Government, Scouts Royale Brotherhood. Tau Gamma Phi, Alpha Kappa Rho, Alpha Phi Sigma, Azofs Waltam Association, GRGI youth and other pro environmental groups.
