"A period of time wherein someone occupies a certain official post in the Government."

A very good definition, but that "period of time" has been the "period of all times." Not being bitter with the current ship captain of the province or the municipality I belong. I have always been consensual with matters like this. Involving matters regarding the present President of the RP, the present Congressman of Catanduanes, the present Governor of the Province, the present Mayor of San Andres, no one knows whom I voted for during the last election, but my personal choice wasn't one of them. That's why, I think, the incumbent officials are on their revenge mode targeting employment in the province. Those who were against them, were not given even a little chance to work in offices or agencies held by the Provincial and Municipal government, or those offices or agencies for which the local government provides manpower.

Political support systems gained by these candidates could hardly be paid off during their 3-year incumbency for Local Officials and 6 years for National Officials. In Catanduanes, I applied as a Nurse at Juan M. Alberto Memorial District Hospital as a Casual Employee of the Provincial Government, my application was not approved. My friends would say that it is because I am markedly identified as against their party. I disagree with this proposition. I worked for another candidate, not because I hate or that I am against with their party, but because I personally like the candidate I've chosen. It's a matter of choice and no one could force me to choose their chosen candidates.

Going back to the topic, I oppose the fact that one family occupies a certain official post after another. So with the fact that a candidate who has finished his/her term and has shown what he's got, would reenter politics again. Ohhh, horrible... I also hate the fact that those employees in the municipal office who were working there for quite a long time were pulled out and then replaced with the people who supported their candidacy. Instead of doing this, A PUBLIC OFFICIAL SHOW KNOW HOW TO WIN THE TRUST AND CONFIDENCE OF THE PEOPLE HE'S OBLIGED TO SERVE. And these people are the people of his own place. People change, and public officials should be very careful in every little thing they do. They need not to impulsively pull out employees just like what happened in San Andres, just because it has come to their might that these people did not vote for him? KALOKOHAN! A good leader should not do this, and he is expected to be good even to his known enemies. You people should read about NICCOLO MACHIAVELLI's FOX and LION!!!

I would like to make an appeal on you Honorables of Catanduanes. Please be fair. It's not the time for childish actions. More deserving people are being laid off from their jobs because of politics. Stop politics, Learn to practice LEADERSHIP in your everyday life. Leadership is what we need today. Good Leaders for a Healthy Nation.
