Compromises...

The Magdalo Group is now supporting the candidacy of Senator Villar.

In exchange for Magdalo's support, Senator Villar agreed to the following three conditions set by Magdalo Group:

* He will not enter into an alliance with President Arroyo.
* He will pursue the Magdalo advocacy on poverty alleviation, anti-corruption, peace in Mindanao, and reform and modernization of the Armed Forces.
* He will allow other detained Magdalo members to serve in government.

I have no problem with condition No. 2.

I have doubts on condition No. 1. What if Villar already entered into an alliance with President Arroyo prior to this Magdalo-Villar alliance? If this eventually turns out to be true, somebody did not do his homework.

I find condition No. 3 'curious'. How could they serve in the government if they are detained? As a jail warden may be? or jail guard?

Compromise is admittedly a great way to solve differences. But a person who compromises something which he has no control of, or has no power to compromise, is typically, both a fool...

...and a desperate man salivating to get elected president.

Another vote buying...

Garo vote buying na naman so No. 3.

Kapalit nin suporta o boto, piyapangakuan an mga nakadetain na Magdalo nin pwesto sa gobyerno? Ano na ini.

Mii na kita kaan ki Villar!
