About Us

The prevailing concept of development in our island province is actually a passive resignation to the will, design and the plans of elected public officials: Ta sinda ang asa gobierno, saindang gibo an. Bahala sinda. Hilingon ta daw kun ano man ang gigibohon kaan.

While all of us want to see more concrete steps in making our Island Province a better place to live in for us and the next generation, we fail to take action. We tend to sit back and leave all the work to elected officials. We even have the bad habit of acting like a watchdog with big-round-eyes ready to pounce on erring government officials without offering alternatives. Adopting this kind of attitude is not good for Catanduanes.
